Friday Faves: Running Memes Edition!

Hi Friends:)

This week has been super weird, and not in a good way. I’ve had to really seek out lightness and humor wherever I could find it to push through.

I love memes in general, and running memes are legitimately so accurate. I picked out a few of my favorite memes that kept me smiling this week!

For real though, if you don’t know how to use the self check out, DON’T GO THROUGH THE SELF CHECK OUT LINE!!

I deferred all my fall races this week and effectively lost over $150. Hooray!

I applied to charity teams for the Boston Marathon this week, even though I literally just started running again after healing up a super unpleasant injury. Why do we  runners do these things, you ask? Here’s why…

RUNDERFUL is the only thing I’ve ever felt truly addicted to, folks.

This is so, so true. I never see movies anymore…but I run hundreds of dollars worth of races every year.

I mean…I follow medical advice. Mostly.

Flashback to that time I delusionally called what was clearly a stress fracture a “calf injury” for several weeks/races.

This is literally all I did while driving alone for 18 hours to and from Toronto over labor day. 25 miles? I could get there on foot!

“I’m just running a half this weekend, so I can totally still go to spin class and barre class and hiking with you…” said springtime Kerri.

All of my food is gone and I blame fitness.

#InjuredLyfe. My orthopedist uses all his scariest scare tactics on me when i go into the office now.

Running: Making dating even weirder, all day erryday.

There you have it! A few of the memes that have kept a smile on my face this week:)

Now You Tell Me…

  • Fave runner memes/jokes?
  • What helps you push through a tough week? (brownies and a good book and lots of extra rest for me!)
  • Any Friday favorites out there??

  1. Wellll all of these memes relate to me! Haha. Especially the one about running being an expensive sport 😉 plus with all the pairs of running shoes!!

A good book definitely helps me push through a tough week. Plus having something fun that I’m looking forward to on the weekend!
